Mari-Carmen is the interim coordinator of the Network, a position she assumed in August 2025. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Network. Prior to joining the EEAC, she worked at the Advisory Council for Sustainable Development of Catalonia (CADS), C2O Consulting, the Australian Institute of Marine Science, and the University of Barcelona.
